Gus and Theo are the two first animals I've every personally adopted and been responsible for. We've been through a lot together over the last decade. Unfortunately, after trying our best to fight through his stomach issues, Gus passed at the end of 2024. It was a lot to process. His absence completely altered the feel of our home. Theo found his days in the house a lot quieter. We all did. It's never until the ones we love leave us, do we notice how much their energy altered our daily lives. This painting represents those raw emotions.
